The clinical presentation of hypoglycemia is primarily characterized by hypoglycemic syndrome; onset may be accompanied by symptoms such as palpitations, a sensation of hunger, weakness, trembling of the hands and feet, skin pallor, sweating, increased heart rate, and a slight rise in blood pressure.

Emergency measures include the following:
In cases of mild hypoglycemia where the patient remains conscious, consuming a few pieces of candy or biscuits, or drinking half a glass of sugar water, can rapidly correct the condition; symptoms typically resolve within ten to fifteen minutes.
If the above measures prove ineffective, or if the patient exhibits signs of impaired consciousness, they should be taken to the hospital immediately for emergency treatment.
